Remember Me- Chapter One

Some, if not most, readers of The Goddess' Order are aware that much of the inspiration for me creating The Goddess' Order world is a Lord of the Ring fanfiction that I am currently writing. To be honest, I never planned on sharing any part of the fanfiction online. It is heavily inspired itself from a series of stories, The Mellon Chronicles, written by two people who go by "Siobhan" and "Cassia." The reason I never planned on sharing it is because the plan was for me to take everything that happened in their series and simply write from the perspective of a new character that I would add in. This character ended up being Ellothiel, a young human girl who had lost her memories. Elrond would take her in as his daughter, thus giving her front row seat access to all the events that would occur. In addition to many of the plot ideas and characters being Siobhan's and Cassia's, Ellothiel pretty much starts out as a Mary-Sue. I know many readers are not fond of the amnesia story line, and since I only ever intended to write the fanfiction for myself there are stark inaccuracies in the LotR lore featured in the writing, which I know bothers many fans of Tolkien's works. However, due to a lot of thinking time what with my laptop still being repaired, I decided I would go ahead and post the chapters I have finished. I am not trying to hijack Siobhan's and Cassia's work in any way, and hope this all comes off more as an example of how amazing I believe their work to be as it inspired me to create this fanfiction of my own. I am also hoping sharing the chapters will convince me to finally give them the editing they need, and to simply continue writing the fanfiction as I have pushed it to the side for some time now.

What I'm Currently Listening to #2

Japanese Songs
#1
SAKURA- Naotaro Moriyama and Naohito Fujiki

I discovered this song while I was watching a show clip featuring one of my favorite idol groups. It was around the beginning of spring, and they were discussing the most successful songs that had the word "Sakura" (Cherry Blossom) in the title. This song is the most successful one to date. It is the insert song from a drama called "Itoshi Kimi E" (To the One I Love), which centers around a woman finding out that the man she has fallen in love with will lose his eyesight in three months.

#2
OKOCHAMA SENSOU ("Childish War")- Rin and Len Kagamine

This is a dance cover by Kamen Liar 217 (the older girl; she also goes by Niina) and Ririri to a Vocaloid song.

#3
TOKI WO KOE SORA WO KOE- Morning Musume '14

One of the two newest songs by Morning Musume. It is one my my favorite songs of theirs that they've released recently. I like everything about it save for most of the dance. It has been strongly hinted that the song is in honor about those who lost their lives in the 2011 Tohoku earthquake, although there has been no official confirmation about such a thing.

English Songs
#4
TEARS FOR ALICE- David Lanz

The song technically doesn't have any words, but it was created by an American composer. I have loved this song for a long time, but I had forgotten about it until recently. I had had a linked saved to it on my old laptop I am currently using as my Alienware is getting fixed. Now that I've discovered it again, I made sure I saved it to a playlist on YouTube.

#5
I SEE FIRE- Peter Hollens

This is an acappella cover of Ed Sheeran's "I See Fire" from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I like the original as well, but I think I prefer this version just a little bit more. I came across Peter Hollens from the featured channels they have on YouTube. Normally I ignore them, but in this case I was drawn in immediately. I recommend checking out more of Hollens' songs.

The Goddess' Order Revision

I just thought I should make this post to let everyone know what is going on. For a long while now, I've wanted to go through all the previous chapters of The Goddess' Order (especially the earliest ones) to give them a good editing. By doing this, I hope to improve their quality and make the writing style more consistent to what I am currently producing. I am posting below the links to the chapters that have been revised so far, and will add more as I progress through this work.

Part One

Blackout

I sat on my bed wondering what to do. It had been a long time, and Eloril, Maldor, and Michael had not returned. Nana and Thralas didn't show up either. I had no idea where everyone had gone or what was going to happen next. Though my head still hurt terribly and I felt unsteady on my feet, I decided to explore a little. I had grown used to the room I was in, and wanted to see more of the hospital. A quick peek down the corridor showed me that there was little else besides seats and glass doors that led to rooms appearing to be quite similar to my own. No one was in sight, although I could sense that others were about nearby. I started wandering to the right. However, I barely got anywhere. My room was on the corner, and as soon as I reached the intersection a sense of familiarity too strong to be ignored washed over me. My eyes were drawn to the room at the end of the way.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #10

I really don't like snow days in the Sims. The bus still comes, and sometimes I miss canceling the actions of the children to get on it. Then I get all these notifications about them missing school if I do cancel it, and occasionally the children's grades will drop. In one particular instance, pretty much everyone in the house went to school on a snow day as I wasn't paying attention. They went to classes for a few hours before the game finally realized they weren't supposed to be there. Most of the kids went home, but I eventually found Edwin and Hershel just chilling out in front of the school's doors.

Kenneth spent the day off practicing his shooting using the soccer net Emmeline had bought with all the festival tickets the family had collected. She had enough tickets to buy some of the more expensive prizes, but there wasn't enough room in the yard for them.

The other children, like Elmira here, took advantage of the rest of the little yard room left to decorate it with snowmen and snow angels. An attempt at an igloo was made, but there simply wasn't enough space for it at the end of the day.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #9

I couldn't believe it, but it was time for another Majesty to make his way into the world. Charlie had had his birthday, and had become a Young Adult. His goal was to improve his physique as well as his mind. It was hard for Emmeline to say goodbye to her calm alien son, but it was nice for her to see that all her hard work was resulting in well-adjusted, responsible children who were able to take great big first steps into the adult world.

There was another birthday soon after Charlie's departure. Estelle grew up having Emmeline's hair, but otherwise looked almost identical to Dayvid as Emmeline had suspected she would.

As I had had to turn off Story Progression for a while due to the world lagging, the population of Moonlight Falls had started to slope downwards. I decided to place into the town some of the Berry Sims I have created to add variety to the populace in addition to bolstering the numbers of the town again. Ella became friends with Sunglow Morning almost instantly. The two frequently got together to collaborate on their homework.
