100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #7

Sorry again for the large break between updates. I've only just been able to keep up with my normal TGO updates, so this challenge unfortunately had to take a back seat. I have some spare time this weekend though in which I can finally get around to putting out an update for you all. Hopefully this will encourage me to stay more regular with this story.

Since it's been so long, I'll give you a bit of a refresher on what happened in the last update. Emmeline got pregnant by Joe MacDuff, and gave birth to a human child she named Hershel. Adelaide became a Young Adult and moved out, Elle, Edwin, and Kenneth became children, Charlie became a teenager, and Emmeline became pregnant by an elderly man named James Hoppcraft whom she turned into a fairy using a potion. Now, after a bit of waiting, Emmeline realized her time with James had indeed resulted in a pregnancy.

Hershel has his birthday. He inherited Joe's hair and Emmeline's eyes. He turned out to be a human and not a witch, but Emmeline was so stunned at how adorable he turned out that she didn't mind.

She dressed him in purple as it was his favorite color, and began teaching him his skills. Emmeline enjoyed having only Hershel to teach after all the chaos she went through making sure the triplets were all taken care of. She had so much fun with her littlest boy that she barely left the nursery. Hershel was walking and talking in no time.

Deciding the children were spending too much time at the house, Emmeline gave them some money so they could go enjoy the summer festival and beautiful weather. Elwood, Peter, Charlie, Ella, Edwin, and Kenneth had only just arrived at the park when Elwood made a beeline for the snow cone machine. He made icy treat after icy treat. With how hard he works out and how buff he is, I think he can afford the calories though.

Charlie made good use of the soccer net. He practice until he was making all sorts of cool shots. Some other the other Sims around came to watch, and one eventually joined him so he could practice shooting properly. Charlie had a bit of trouble getting the ball past at first, but it didn't take too long before each ball made it safely past the keeper. Charlie eventually got tired though. He went to join Elwood in eating snow cones.

Edwin and Kenneth pondered having snow cones as well. but quickly decided that they required something more fulfilling than ice. They faces off against two adult men, a human and a vampire, in a hot dog eating contest. All four boys gave it their best shot. Edwin had to quite halfway through. Kenneth, on the other hand, with his animal appetite easily won the contest. He was rewarded with a whole plate of hotdogs which he could bring home.

Peter preferred quieter and less nauseating activities. He took a page out of Emmeline's book, and began going around picking up all the flowers. Most of them he sold, but he kept a few of the colorful ones to decorate the house with.

Meanwhile, Ella had gone off by herself so that she could learn how to roller skate. It was hard enough finding her balance, and the werewolf running around like a crazed man didn't help her either. She wondered why it was so hard for him to grasp the concept of the activity. If he wanted to leap about like an animal, he was better off doing it where he wouldn't get in her way.

The werewolf did finally leave. Ella was free to concentrate on what she was doing. Having the whole rink to herself allowed her to improve much more rapidly. Being athletic like most of her siblings, Ella was doing fancy spins and all sorts of other tricks by the end of the afternoon.

Though he had eaten all of those hotdogs, Kenneth's stomach was still not satisfied. He came back from the festival demanding to Emmeline that he wanted raw meat to try. She didn't have any, but made a quick run to the grocery store to pick up a bit of steak. Kenneth took it with gratitude, and gave it a great big sniff.

He began chomping away at it, but it looked more like he was stuffing sawdust into his face instead of eating meat.

Edwin got his turn on the horse rocker. Since all the children loved the horse so much, I eventually went ahead and bought a second one so all the foot stamping and arguing over turns would cease. Edwin rode that thing for hours until he grew bored and went to watch television instead.

Kenneth had become responsible since his birthday, but there were some times when he transformed where he simply had to claw an item to bits. The poor victim this time around was one of the nice plants in one of the downstairs bathrooms. Emmeline gave Kenneth a good lecture when she found out, and made his fork over some of his allowance so the plant could be replaced.

Elwood and Peter, as the two oldest siblings in the household, often spent a lot of time together to escape the craziness of their younger brothers and sister. However, they often made it a point to have their conversations directly in front of the elevator door. I'm not sure if they were simply unaware of the congestion they were causing, or if it was their way of teasing their siblings.

Ever since he had become a teenager, Charlie no longer required sleep. He wandered about the house during the night- generally occupying his time by watching television or playing chess. It soon dawned on him that the night was a great opportunity for him to test out his alien powers. After discovering that the dishwasher had broken, Charlie was all too eager to see what he could do. He stood there for a half hour "recombobulating" it, and the dishwasher was fixed. Charlie was ecstatic, and proudly showed off what he had done to Emmeline the next morning. Needless to say, Emmeline was pleased as well.

Honestly, I've forgotten why I took this picture. I believe I was going to say something about how it often looks weird when the Sims play tag with one another since Ella, Edwin, and Kenneth were playing tag at this point, but I can't recall if that's right or not. I figure you can just stare and admire Ella's adorableness instead.

Emmeline gave birth again, this time to another human daughter. The new baby girl was given the name Elmira.

Keeping up the fast pace of conception, Emmeline invited over vampire Dayvid Musgrave. He had indeed been interested in coming over, but kept a distance when Emmeline went to shake his hand. She wondered if he was really going to be able to help her.

Dayvid had no problem with physical contact once the two of them got inside though. Emmeline had to rush Edwin, who was using the easel, out of the room so she and her guest could get down to business.

After his time with Emmeline was done, Dayvid decided to stay for the afternoon and for dinner. However, the children didn't appreciate his presence too much. Instead of sitting down at the couch to watch television, he insisted on sitting at the table. Peter, Charlie, and Ella were trying to have their meal, but Dayvid kept switching from seat to seat- preventing them from sitting down. Peter and Charlie were eventually able to outmaneuver him, but poor Ella eventually got so fed up that she simply ate her carbonara while standing.
