While I was extremely glad to finally have our first heir, having four toddlers in the house was no easy task. Things only managed to work out well because Rigel had most of the week ever since he reached the top of his career. It didn't matter how badly he complained- he and Arasa were teaching Alshain, Hamal, and Ara from nearly dusk to dawn. They left the maid to take care of cleaning the potties. However, sometimes a mess just couldn't be avoided. As you can see above, two of the three potties were overflowing nastiness onto the floor. Rigel and Arasa went to bed exhausted after cleaning up as best they could.
Here we have the founder and second generation heir together. I like that Hamal got Arasa's skin color though.
When I'm playing small households, nighttime is very boring and I can't wait for it to end. It's a relief in this town though, and it never lasts long enough. By the time everyone gets to bed it feels like I only have seconds before it all starts up again. Everyone's so cute when they sleep.
The worst passed, and Tarazed became a child. I would have kept her in the household had I not had triplets. She went to art school.
Then a couple days later it was Alshain, Hamal, and Ara's birthday. I sent Alshain to the school of peace and love, but naturally kept Hamal and Ara home.
Before Alshain left, Snowflake Day arrived and Rigel and Arasa wanted to throw another party. The house was bursting even though they just invited all their children who weren't at school. Almach and Alshain were incredibly out of place among all of their purple-haired and blue-haired siblings.
The party didn't really go as planned. Since computer controlled Sims are idiots, almost none of the Starr children could find a place to sit without throwing a fit when it was time to open presents. Half of them left before they got anything at all. It wasn't too long before it was only the active household left with a huge stack of presents. I mean, I'm all for more presents, but this situation was just ridiculous.
Now that all of her children were at school during the day, Arasa was finally able to head back out to complete her lifetime wish of finding twenty minor pets. A wish to catch butterflies came up, and the star-burst design behind the wish picture that signifies that a wish relates the lifetime wish was there. I assumed that meant that butterflies filled the requirement for catching minor pets. It took me longer than it should have to realize this was not the case. I wasted an entire day with Arasa. Why make it look like butterflies were acceptable if they weren't? Silly game.
I always like it when a meal comes around and the Etael heirs are on one side and the Starr heirs are on the other.
This is just something I found interesting. Hamal's favorite colored turned out to be turquoise, and Ara's turned out to be lilac. What a coincidence, huh? This picture of their lava lamps in their bedroom. Hamal's is on the right, and Ara's is on the left. The color of the lava managed to be purple in Hamal's and blue in Ara's at the same time.
Alshain called from school saying that he wanted to come home. He hated his school. He didn't understand what was so wrong with war and hate anyway. Rigel and Arasa decided to let him come home momentarily, but he had to go to different school when he became a teen. They decided that military school seemed to be a better fit for him, and Alshain was excited to agree.
He had about two days at home before it was the triplets' birthday again. Alshain went off to military school without complaint. He even called some time later to say how amazing it was.
Rigel had a bit of trouble getting his hot dog out of the fridge.
Hamal and Ara have had the evil trait since they were born. They pulled some pranks as children, but now things are getting more serious. Hamal decided to try and prank the school. A janitor ratted him out, and Hamal was brought home by the police. He got a stern lecture from Arasa and was grounded. Hamal instantly wished to see her ghost. It was kind of terrifying to think that Hamal would want to see his mother die after just getting a lecture and normal punishment for trying to flood an entire building.
Hamal didn't care about his punishment at all. As soon as everyone else was sleep, he snuck out to go to the big house where a lot of his siblings live. Even though he was in clear view of them, Hamal managed to successfully set a bag on fire and get away without getting caught.
It was time for more birthdays. Rigel had his, and became an elder.
Tarazed's was next. She had good grades, and ended up with a well-rounded personality. She joined the music career.
Arasa also became an elder. It's a bit sad to think she and Rigel won't be around for much longer. I felt like I really didn't get to do much with them. Hopefully, it won't take Hamal and Ara so long to produce heirs.
Playing them from birth gives me a head-start that I didn't get with Rigel and Arasa. They both want to be evil overlords or whatever that lifetime wish is. The two of them spend a lot of time in their home gym working on their athletic skill. Even as teens Hamal and Ara have almost maxed it out. Few are going to want to mess with this evil, sibling combo.
The important time came as Alshain, Hamal, and Ara became Young Adults. With not a lot of time left, and wanting to enjoy that time as much as possible, Rigel and Arasa said goodbye and moved to their own house. I meant for Alshain to move out on his own as well. Then I reconsidered and figured that he would be a good live-in babysitter since both Hamal and Ara will be working a lot.

(By mistake, I accidentally forgot to give Hamal the Dislike Children trait when he became a YA. I changed Loser to Dislikes Children as it should have been, but not before I uploaded him. You can change his traits to how they're supposed to be, or not. It only really matters if he has DC in my game, but I just figured I'd give you guys the heads up.)
