For some reason, Rigel and Arasa had trouble conceiving their next child. They had to Try for Baby around seven times I believe before I got the melody confirming the pregnancy. They were finally able to go to bed, and as I zoomed around the hose waiting for the next day to arrive I stumbled across this (creepy) little guy. It seems Rigel and Arasa'a woohooing has some magical gnome summoning powers. I sold him for the 1000 Simoleons.
And early the following morning, I only got more confirmation that Arasa is pregnant once again. Both she and I wish that she won't have to go through this whole process for too much longer.

Then Arasa went on to give birth to another girl. She was named Situla. I was excited when I saw the blue hair, but then I saw her eyes. Rigel, Arasa, and I all sighed with disappointment.
I began to get a bit worried. Rigel had his birthday and became an adult. He and Arasa have succeeded well in everything else they have tried- Rigel accomplished his dream of becoming a top chef, Arasa is a well established author, and their proficiency in their various other skills only continues to grow. The perfect heir is the one thing that continues to elude them, and time is running out. Arasa had her birthday as well, so it only made matters more worrisome.
And things didn't get easier for Rigel. One day, Aquarius called him from boarding school. She explained that she had been taught in her classes how to fake sincerity, and then proceeded to tell him that she loved him. Ouch. I guess it's not that surprising or undeserved considering Rigel never tried hard to hide that he'd rather none of his children exist at all.
Situla's birthday came around,
and another Etael heir was born. Rigel and Arasa named their new daughter Aquila.
I forgot to enroll Situla in boarding on her first day as a child, so she got to be home for an extra day. She loved playing with Aquila while their parents had to see to other matters about the house. Situla eventually had to leave though, and the house become quiet for just a little while.
It didn't remain quiet for long because Arasa added twin boys to the household. Meet Apodis and Altair. Apodis is on the left, Altair on the right. How come the purple hair-blue eyes/blue hair-purple eyes/heck, even the Etael heir combo is so common, but the blue hair and blue eyes together just doesn't want to happen? I think the game is avoiding putting them together just to mess with me.
The house was considerably more crazy now that Apodis and Altair joined the ranks, but thankfully Aquila had been taught all her skills and had her birthday not too long after. She was rushed off to boarding school, and Rigel and Arasa did some more baby-making activities.
The result was another girl with the blue hair/purple eyes combination. Her name is Tarazed.
Apodis and Altair's birthday was the next event to come around. I prefer Altair's coloring and facial structure, but I like Apodis' brighter skintone much more. They ended up going to live with Andromeda and their other siblings at the big house nearby instead of going to boarding school.
While Arasa went out to the hospital to get an ultrasound for her new pregnancy, Tarazed was under the watch of a very incompetent babysitter. I don't think that letting someone who is insane watch over your children is a very smart choice. The babysitter simply stood in that spot and talked to herself, sometimes yelling quite loudly at what was nothing more than thin air.
Arasa's ultrasound revealed that she would be having a boy. In order to even out the female-male ratio, and hopefully get an heir since her birthing days were running low, Arasa watched a lot of children's television and listened to a lot of kids' songs. I wasn't sure just how many children would come as a result of this, but the grand total ended up being three. The oldest is Alshain, who got some interestingly colored ashen hair.
Then blessed day, the middle sibling turned out to be an heir! And a male heir, my favorite kind! His name is Hamal.
The youngest is a girl named Ara. Her name comes from a star just like the names of the rest of her siblings, but it also works as a reference to Arasa. Considering that she also is an Etael heir, I thought it made perfect sense to keep her at home with Hamal once they age up and try my idea of keeping both lines going at the same time.
