Hidden

I got a bit worried as to where Amonost and Adonnen had gotten one afternoon after the high school students had gotten out for the day. Normally, the twins come home right away. However, Cadrier returned home alone having no idea where his brothers had gone. I tried not to panic too much. It was very unlikely something had happened, and more probably they had just wandered around for a bit. That pretty much turned out to be the case. It was such a nice day they had decided to walk home instead of taking the bus. On the way, they came across the ice cream truck. They proceeded to buy an icicle for all of us, and came home carrying them all. I would have said something about them at least giving me a short text letting me know about the delay, but the ice cream cooled my slight annoyance.

Four

The past couple months have been some of the most particularly difficult ones I've faced since coming here. Not long after I received the news that I was having quadruplets, a thief broke into our house during the very late evening. Everyone else had head off to bed, but I was just about to go out to get the mail that we had forgotten about. Then, all of sudden, the alarm went off. Even after covering my ears, I still felt as if they were going to rupture.  The thief then came into sight. She seemed to be in shock, for she only stared at me and the alarm. She did run out the door a couple seconds later though.

It was after she left that all the others came rushing down the stairs. Ada and Eloril tried to follow her, but as they began to search outside they discovered there was no lead to show which way the thief had gone to. We resorted to alerting the police. Eloril dealt with making the report while the rest of us went back to bed.

Snowflake Day

We finally have a bit of variation in this household now that my new daughter, Lomaraniel, has been born. I feel as if I can safely say that we won't be having another fair-haired, green-eyed child to add to the count. When I told him that, Derrek actually bet me that the universe would give Lomaraniel fair hair and green eyes just to mess with me. I took the bet, but now I'm secretly worried that what Derrek said will come true and the universe will mess with me.

There are so many things to love about this town- the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful landscape, the gorgeous night sky, and so many that I can't mention them all. However, one of my most absolute favorite features has to be the community garden. I'm able to get all the fresh fruits and vegetables that I love to cook with, and it's not quite as much work as having a garden in our own yard. Right now almost everything is in full bloom, and with the end of summer approaching there's only more goodies to anticipate.

Speaking of the end of summer approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to do something special.
