Gen One- Chapter Twenty Three

The park was full of children laughing and merrily screaming as they played. And by children, I mean my teenage friends. There were few actual little ones on the lot, and they were all enjoying themselves in much quieter ways. It was the ones who should have been acting that way who were acting like they were five. Amaranth and Allium were the ones who had started off the crazy game of tag that they, Sunset, and Sunflower were participating in. Allium had claimed that he could finally outrun Amaranth, which had been the wrong move. The two began chasing each other as if stopping meant they would die, and poor Sunset and Sunflower got caught in the crossfire. Needless to say considering how many times Allium was 'it', he was still highly unable to outrun Amaranth.

Random Halloween-ness

I'm in a random kind of mood where all I want to do is listen to Halloween music. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I just love the creepy songs made in tribute to it. I figured I'd go ahead and share my current earworms.

Trick and Treat, Instrumental version

One of the many versions with vocals here.

Otome no Gyakushuu, Instrumental Version

Official Music Video. It's not technically a "Halloween" song, but the vibe is close enough.

Happy Halloween

Gen One- Chapter Twenty Two

That Wednesday morning was just like any other morning. I rolled out of bed with a grumble regretting as I always did how I late I stayed up talking to my friends on the phone. The lateness of the night never bothered me. The earliness of the morning always did. I contemplated letting myself sleep in for just one day. Then I forced myself to remember how much I hated dealing with the congestion if I didn't get to the school before the buses. The extra rest wasn't worth it. I took a quick shower, got dressed, made sure to take my medicine, went downstairs to have breakfast, chatted with Eden, played with Button, and was then on my way. The roads were calm, and I got an even better parking space than normal. My mood had increased decently by the time I reached the halls. When I turned the corner to approach my locker, I found out it was a rather good thing I hadn't delayed. Sap was clearly waiting for me as he stood right next to it. I was still sleepy, but he looked even more out of it. I couldn't help giggling quietly as he yawned a massive yawn- his expression shifting into something quite amusing.

Gen One- Chapter Twenty One

My eyes were threatening to close on me even when walking through the front door with my arms full of luggage. To be honest, I was exhausted enough that the floor looked like a good enough bed. I only forced myself to make it to the couch because Eden was coming in behind me. The return trip had been the worst flight of my life so far. A storm delayed our original plane. Sap's parents were lucky enough to find us another flight not long afterwards, but in order to claim our position at the last second we had to take economy seats instead of first class ones the Spring family typically booked. None of them were together. I ended up in a middle seat with a grumpy old man on my left and a chatty couple on my right. A crying baby was a few rows behind, and the turbulence the whole ride was awful. I felt banged up, beaten, and sore by the time the plane landed.

I sunk into the couch cushions like they were cushions straight from heaven. Glad that I had at least thought to wear comfortable, lazy clothing for the trip, I had no qualms about making the couch my bed that night. I sat there, half-asleep, too exhausted to give Button the petting she wanted. She had to make do with simply sitting at my feet instead.

Color My World Behind the Scenes #1

As it is, today you'll be getting this little Behind the Scenes update instead of Chapter Twenty-One. I had actually been planning on posting this as an extra surprise this Thursday, but an annoying and abrupt schedule change at work took away my day off yesterday. Having lost the day I had been planning on doing most of the writing for the next chapter, I realized it would simply be too much to try and get it all done anyway. Thus, this is being released in its stead. Chapter Twenty-One will be out next Monday.

I have shared several of these pictures on various forums before, so forgive me if you see any repeats.

Enjoy!

The first pictures of Eden and Ethereal. I created them long before I had even finished The Goddess' Order. I believe I created them around the end of Part Five, which took place back in April and May of last year. The two did not change from their original appearances, save for Eden getting different eyebrows..

It's My Birthday! (#3!)

I can't believe it's already the third year I've done this 0.0 And there I was thinking years ago that I would make this blog and probably forget about it for eternity.

There's pictures this time around!

Bourbon chicken dinner, served over rice. Absolutely delicious. We used this recipe and tamari sauce instead of soy sauce. You'll want to go with at least three pounds of chicken if you have five or more people.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #18

My game loves to do weird things. I don't know exactly how, but the school became glitched. Lynette and Gwendolyn tried to exit the building after classes were over, yet they got stuck inside. A simple reset of them would fix the problem- is what I thought. What it did was suddenly snatch them right out of the household! Both their panels and the actual Sims vanished. Instead of letting myself freak out, I decided to see if Overwatch would recover them during the nightly reset.

Gen One- Chapter Twenty

A light, tickling breeze brushed my hair and danced across my skin. The scent of the seawater was definitely not unfamiliar, but there was something wholly different about at the same time. A crispness and liveliness that did not exist in Berrybrook thrived in Tropic Luna. The tingling of the bright sunlight illuminating the world unceasingly further amplified the exotic atmosphere. The stretch of ocean before me was nearly infinite. It was only partially blocked by a fog covered island in the distance. With an unfocused gaze, I stared straight ahead at it. I should have been ecstatic in that moment. There I was on a gorgeous rented house boat anchored on the edge of one of several tropical islands with two days ahead of me to do whatever I wanted. However, I couldn't focus on my fortuitous situation and only concentrate on how my fortuitous situation had me feeling so down. I sighed, not noticing the person coming up from behind me until she was right there.
