With the triplets all taught and time passing by, Emmeline knew she was able to become pregnant once more. She had a little trouble finding someone she thought was acceptable, and eventually realized she was being too picky when it came looking for potential fathers. She met this guy. I didn't bother with his name at first. However, I took the time to look him up and he is Joe MacDuff.
Since Emmeline compromised on having a good-looking guy, she was determined to at least have him be a Supernatural. After throwing a potion at Joe that made him friends with her, Emmeline threw a Witches' Brew potion.
Joe quickly began using his newfound powers. It wasn't until I looked up his name and history that I realized Emmeline actually did him a very large favor. Joe was always teased by his twin brother for not inheriting their father's magical powers. Now Emmeline had given him some. Pretty cool.
After getting what he always wanted, Joe was more than willing to help Emmeline out with what she needed.
Elwood was a savior for me. He was able to do all the small things in the household that just weren't possible for Emmeline to get around to doing. Probably the most helpful thing he did was teach Adelaide how to drive, which Adelaide had been wanting for a long to do for a long time. It also gave the two older siblings a break from all the children and toddlers.
Charlie finally got a chance to ride the horse rocker. Peter had always hogged it before. I would try to make him play with something else or improve his skills, but Peter would quit soon afterwards to return to the horse. It was nice to see Charlie have great fun, and I did not feel bad at all when Peter stamped his foot when he wanted to get on but Charlie was there. You're dead Peter. You have your whole eternal not-life life to ride horses.
The nausea came, signaling a successful conception for Emmeline.
Soon after Emmeline discovered she was pregnant, it was time for her first baby girl's birthday. Part of me wanted to keep Adelaide around, but I can't keep every child in the house. Adelaide had worked hard as a teen and had high skills, so I knew she would do fine on her own.
I could never tell whether Peter liked the triplets or not after he had his birthday. He had the Evil trait, so he would constantly be stealing their candy. However, he would then go pick them up and play with them for hours. He seemed to favor Ella the most, but that seemed to be how it was going with the triplets so far.
The next birthday was one I was really excited for. It was time for Ella, Edwin, and Kenneth to become children! Ella looked even more like Emmeline, Kenneth looked more like Tyler, and Edwin was a good combination of the two. I knew I would have to wait until they got a bit older to really see what they looked like though since children mostly tend to appear the same. Despite the triplets all having their major differences, they got along fabulously.
Kenneth had it tough sometimes- what with being the only werewolf out of the bunch. His family quickly grew used to his condition though. His frequent transformations barely phased them. Kenneth transformed a lot since he apparently found his werewolf form was much funner to be in than his boring human one.
I made Emmeline watch a bunch of children's television again as I have for most of her pregnancies.
Yet like most of her pregnancies, she only had one child. Emmeline's body apparently has a strong resistance to carrying multiples. The baby who was born was a human Emmeline chose to name Hershel.
Instead of whining about not having multiples again, Emmeline went out and did something about it. She thankfully had a fairy potion she had been saving for a long time. It took a couple days, but Emmeline made good friends with this older man who was willing to help her out. Then, splash! The potion was thrown at his feet.
The wings he got somehow suited him quite well, although I don't think he realized just what exactly he had agreed to transform into.
The children still prefer playing upstairs, which means I need to make the downstairs more appealing so there can be less traffic congestion. They do like eating in the much more spacious dining area downstairs though. While Tyler has a preference for cake, Kenneth instead really like pumpkin pie. His siblings have learned to ignore his peculiar way of eating.
Elwood chills out by dancing most of the time when he's not working out or playing with his younger siblings. The guy is getting pretty buff, and doing quite well at his job. I figure I need to let him get out on his own soon so he can make some nice babies of his own. I think sometime after Peter leaves would be good as Ella, Edwin, and Kenneth would be older by that point and ready to help out themselves.
Kenneth got done pretending to be a race car driver, but I don't even know what he was trying to do when this happened. It looks a little painful. At least he's flexible.
Charlie aged up handsomely. I'm normally not that fond of the alien facial structure, but it just really works for him somehow.
It's nice when the children manage to get themselves together to do something- even if it's only watching television. They might all be different, but they're different together.
Yeah, Peter. Geez. You can play with the horses for all of your dead eternity.
ReplyDeleteUh, Kenneth, buddy, the steering wheel is in front of you. Not, um. behind. Yeah. Don't hurt yourself.
Nice update :)
