100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #2

Emmeline worked with dedication to make sure Elwood knew everything that he needed to before his birthday came around. It was nice for her to be able to break out of routine and just spend some quality time with her child at home.

There remained a constant need for money though. Emmeline rarely had any time to paint, and what paintings she did finish didn't sell for much. The trip to the park to pick flowers remained a necessity. The flowers regrew each day, and continued to provide more money than what most normal working Sims made in a day.

Emmeline enjoyed heading to the park everyday because she always saw something interesting. On this particular day, she spotted a werewolf who didn't quite grasp the concept of a rollerskating rink. He ran around in the rink like a mad while not even wearing skates.

It was a momentous day for our mama. She finally managed to convince Pip to sleep with her in hopes of her getting a sparkly fairy baby. She certainly enjoyed her time with Pip more than she did with Elwood's father (I have not made it a point at all to bother remembering the father's names.) Pip made it clear he wanted to stay with his wife and family. Emmeline didn't mind. She only needed a child from Pip, not Pip himself.

There was a day where Emmeline got more than just bills in the mail. She hadn't thought she was the most popular woman around town, but the people she had met decided to send her some presents. Unfortunately, none of the things she was sent were things she wanted or could use. Emmeline simply sold them instead figuring the senders wouldn't mind if she went on to use that money to take better care of Elwood.

And most likely her new baby as well. Emmeline had to throw up as soon as she got the mail. With the toilet being broken at that point in time, all she could do was empty the contents of her stomach onto the ground instead.

She was excited later that night when she realized her stomach had begun to bulge. She prayed hard that this time she would get the kind of child she really wanted.

It was Elwood's birthday, and a big delicious birthday cake was bought for the occasion. Elwood aged up healthy and handsome. Emmeline hadn't been so sure of how he would turn out given his father's disposition for being unhygienic and overweight, but Elwood was the image of health.

To further celebrate the special day, Emmeline took her son to the fall festival with her. Their dinner was the pie they ate during their pie eating contest. Despite a hardy effort from Elwood, he could do nothing when faced off against his pregnant mother's appetite. Emmeline was happy because she won a week's serving of key lime pie as a reward.

Poor Elwood really did get the worst out of the contest. He woke up in the middle of the night incredibly nauseous. Emmeline, only recently having her own stomach settle from the morning sickness, was very sympathetic to her little boy.

She cuddled him as they fell asleep. Even though she had the money to buy Elwood a bed, there simply wasn't any room for one. Emmeline had more money saving to do if she wanted to be able to add on a proper room for her older children.

I wish zombies would actually do something. These were two of the four zombies that spawned on my lot that night, but none of them did anything other than stand around and groan. Where's the fun in that?

Emmeline gave birth to a baby girl, and gave her the name Adelaide. Emmeline was ecstatic to see swirling sparkles around her new child. She couldn't wait for Adelaide's birthday to come so she could see her daughter's sparkly goodness in full.

Adelaide aged up to have pretty light blue wings. She was also very adorable herself. Emmeline was satisfied. She wanted to have another fairy child, but he or she would come along when they came along. Emmeline decided it wouldn't be wise to pass up an opportunity just because the father wasn't who she wanted them to be.

After returning home from the park, Emmeline presented Elwood with the pumpkins she had harvested. The two of them had a wonderful evening carving jack-o-lanterns and eating roasted pumpkin seeds.

Emmeline was surprised to learn she had received a large inheritance from a relative she remembered meeting only once a long time ago. Perhaps he had heard of her goal for her and her offspring to produce 100 children, and that was why he had made sure she was given money. Emmeline quickly added a proper room for Elwood. She made sure not to spend an excessive amount though. It was always better to be frugal and save for emergencies or necessity instead of splurging it all on frivolous wants.

A girl came over with Elwood after school, and she did nothing other than rake the leaves in the yard. It was nice not having to have Emmeline or Elwood waste the time doing it themselves.

Emmeline heard that there was an alchemy potion that could turn a normal Sim into a fairy. Emmeline didn't want to be a fairy herself, but she wondered if she could get some of the men she would woohoo with to change. Adelaide went on her shopping trip with her. The store didn't have any fairy potions available that day. Emmeline cheered up by buying some books to learn alchemy herself, as well as a potion Adelaide could use when she got older and when she needed to quickly restore her powers.

Elwood is a very good helper. When mama is busy with his sister, he'll clean out the potty or bring the dishes to the sink so Emmeline doesn't have to do everything.

Spooky Day! Both Emmeline and Elwood wanted to throw a feast party. Kelsey, on the other hand, did not want to. There wouldn't be enough space and the household didn't have a need for so much food. Instead, Emmeline took Elwood and Adelaide to the fall festival. Emmeline couldn't help but to keep staring at a man who decided to show up wearing nothing than a towel around his waist and a watch on his wrist. His face wasn't very appealing, but with him showing so much, Emmeline was attracted to him nonetheless. She talked him up for a little bit.

She also made the acquaintance of an older man. I really didn't care about learning his name. Emmeline debated on the idea of having a child with an older man. If she had problems with him, well, he wouldn't be around that much longer. Also, he might leave the child she bore an inheritance like what her relative left her.  Emmeline really wanted to build a bigger house.

Between him and the guy in the towel, Emmeline went for the older man to produce her third child.

A fairy teen came trick-or-treating that night. Emmeline asked her about her family to see if she had a fairy dad she could woohoo with. Emmeline was disappointed to find out the girl had been raised in a family full of humans. No one knew why she was a fairy. Cursing it as bad luck, Emmeline gave the girl her candy and let her go on her way.

As she fell asleep that night, Emmeline stared at the family picture she, Elwood, and Adelaide had taken earlier in the day to boost her spirits.

The next night, Emmeline was just about to put Adelaide to bed when the confirmation bump for her new pregnancy happened. It gave her an appropriate outfit given the season, and a final bout of morning sickness.
