It was a peculiar little family Ellothiel, Wesley, and Laril were making. The five of them were all happy though, and they were much better at taking care of themselves than some other Sims I've left alone on free will.
Wesley was getting bored of woohooing in the bed. There were also still a few a problems about him and Laril having to fight it out to see who would get in the room first. That is why Wesley spent hours outside raking leaves to add another woohoo spot to the household. He was able to get a good size pile done. Ellette appeared outside not long afterwards. Wesley assumed she was simply going to play in the leaves, which was fine by him.
However, she was actually picking up the leaves to throw them away. An action with good intentions, but it didn't make Wesley cheerful in the slightest.
He seriously stayed up the whole night in the pouring rain until he was about to collapse raking more leaves. Unfortunately, when he woke up after he finally went to bed he found that the leaves had been thrown away again. There was just no way for Wesley to win.
With the addition of Ellette and Ceorl, I had to change the house around. I added a basement where the bottom landing gave a bit more privacy and a better bed to whichever adult had to be spending the night away from the double bled.
I also gave Ellette her own room. It was simple, but it worked. Don't ask me why I made the main color peach when her favorite color was lime.
The repairman Ellothiel called never showed up. Laril woke up in the morning to find the kitchen flooded with water from the broken kitchen sink.
Laril and a very smelly Wesley decided to tell jokes in front of the door- completely preventing the others, like Ellothiel, from getting in and out of the house.
In order to cure some stir craziness, I sent the household out on an evening trip to the library. As soon as they arrived, Ellothiel became nauseous from unknown means and Laril wanted to read a pregnancy book. That could only mean one thing.
Everyone grabbed a book of their choice and picked a comfy spot,
Leaving Ceorl entirely unsupervised in the lobby.
Ellothiel couldn't hold back that sick feeling any longer. She had to make good friends with a public toilet.
Well, not like the toilet back at the house was something she would want to stick her face into. With four Sims sharing one toilet (and few wanting to clean it), the porcelain throne soon took on a rather rank smell. It wasn't long after this point where I added an extra bathroom downstairs.
It seemed at the beginning that Wesley would always dominate with a higher number of woohoos. As time went on, that changed around completely. Ellothiel and Laril were at it constantly. Wesley was more interested in playing with the kids.
And there would soon be another kid for him to cuddle.
I swear I'm not trying to restart Ellothiel's challenge.
That woohoo above was initiated by Laril when Ellothiel was cooking. I was terrified the unattended pancakes were going to catch the house on fire, but thankfully the worst Ellothiel had to deal with was the meal burning.
Ceorl grew into a child.
It was Spooky Day. Ellette and Ceorl changed into their costumes, but they decided to go trick-or-treating instead of sticking around and watching the grown-ups have their fun.
Some guys came to the party wearing the same costume as Laril.
Ellothiel didn't get a costume, because, according to the Sims 3, pregnant women aren't allowed to have fun. Everything becomes a danger to them as soon as they start carrying life. Also, I suppose the creators were simply too lazy to code costume wear for pregnancy. Wesley, dressed very dapperly, took advantage of Laril being distracted to make sure Ellothiel did get some kind of fun in though.
Ellette and Ceorl made their way over to the house down the street. It belonged to that one lady who came over to welcome Ellothiel, Wesley, and Laril when they first moved in. In true Sims 3 fashion, Ellette and Ceorl found her infant son lying outside on the ground.
Trick-or-treating at one house and getting only one piece of candy each was apparently enough for both children. Ellette and Ceorl began to head home. However, Ellette turned around to see the other family's puppy bounding her way. She bent over to give it a pet, but the thing leapt up to knock her over instead.
This was the main reason why I gave the children a bathroom downstairs to use. Ellette and Ceorl had a nasty habit of playing with their imaginary friends in all the wrong places.
Ellothiel went into labor, causing the family to freak out like normal.
Ellothiel and Laril had another baby boy to call their own. He was given the name Orovel.
Annoyingly, he also was born with the random black hair. Still a cutie though.
The family took another trip out of the house. This time they went ice skating. For whatever reason, Wesley, Ellette, and Ceorl all sunk into the lake when they tried to skate. The game counted this as them swimming, so they earned that polar bear club moodlet. After canceling and trying the interaction again, everyone got onto the lake properly.
Oh. Come. On! I even turned down the percentage to almost nothing!
It was already Orovel's birthday.
Ellette had hers as well. She was turning out much different facial structure wise than I had imagined.
The family became addicted to pillow fighting.
Because there were still only three seats at the dining table, Laril had no choice but to take a seat on the toilet instead. At least it was clean at this point in time.
The kitchen/dining area was always (frustratingly) crowded. It was simply the place to be for this household.
Ellothiel went into labor while pillow fighting.
Meanwhile, Ceorl was outside telling a ghost story- that absolutely no one was listening to.
There was yet another boy belonging to Ellothiel and Laril to add to the count. He was named Nind.
With Laril distracted again, this time with his new son, Wesley flirted Ellothiel up until she was in the mood once more. I'm sure he was annoyed with the fact that Laril now had three children while he only had one.
Laril and Ellette were somehow able to talk to the other through the wall.
In truth, I had stopped playing and come to a conclusion before Nind was conceived. I had been letting the Sims run about for a long time already by that point. However, I had wanted to give them a few more hours to see if the result would change. Even another five hours didn't make the slightest difference. Then I decided to move the children out once Ellette became a Young Adult in order to allow Ellothiel, Wesley, and Laril to interact solely with each other once again. So here's Ellette as a Young Adult. She can be downloaded here.
Ceorl.
Orovel.
Nind.
I kept waiting and waiting. I gave the three adults another real life hour being just by themselves. Still, the answer didn't change. The result?
Ellothiel refused to chose.
I've never had a Sim so stubbornly refuse to get even any wishes about wanting to progress to the next romantic level with another Sim. There has always been something about them wanting to marry someone or at least become his/her girlfriend/boyfriend. That just wasn't happening with Ellothiel. That was why I allowed the save to keep running long after I had grown bored of playing. After nearly fifteen hours, there really isn't any debating it though.
Ellothiel won't pick one man over the other. I was disappointed because I did want there to be a definite choice, but I actually think it's a rather fitting result. If the Ellothiel character was real and she was told to pick- I don't think she would be able to chose either. Sure. Ellothiel and Laril were destined to be together, but Wesley was Ellothiel's first love. Then while Wesley gave her the support she desperately needed during some of her greatest struggles, Laril was also the reason why Ellothiel was still alive to meet Wesley. Both were incredibly important, and, in the end, I guess it isn't fair to put one on a higher pedestal than the other. Ellothiel, and especially the Ellothiel in this save, is just going to have to live knowing she's had two absolutely great men in her life to love her.
If you must have a definite unofficial answer for yourself though, you can debate that the "winner" is Laril due to Ellothiel rolling wishes to Woohoo/Flirt/Watch the Stars with only him and not Wesley.
LOL - yes I guess that is fitting that she refused to chose -
ReplyDeletea nice little three some :D
Haha, well that implies that they're all in it TOGETHER. There's a difference between there being three of them and them being in a threesome XD One at a time is it for 'Lo ^^
