PGC Update #9

As promised, here is a proper picture of Araceli. Isn't she cute?

It turns out that Tuon will end up having two more children instead of one. I missed another woman who was having one of his children. Here's her daughter: Marie Albrecht. I accidentally gave her and Araceli the same dress, whoops.

I ended up bringing Araceli into the family. I know I already had my heir and that Sirtana had another baby on the way, but I just couldn't help myself. After so many Sims with purple hair and eyes, Araceli is a nice relief.

Tuon wasn't the most excited to have another toddler in the house, especially since Sirtana was about to pop. Sirtana is really good at helping him out though. She loves little ones.

She did leave Tuon in charge in getting the sisters ready for bed one night. Sirtana anticipated that her child would be born late that night, and she wanted to get as much sleep as possible beforehand. Of course she was right. Sirtana went into labor just after midnight, and gave birth to a baby boy. She named him Harlin.

Unfortunately, he's not quite what I expected. The father was one of the ghosts Sirtana had met in the graveyard. Harlin was supposed to be a pretty blue ghost baby, but he didn't take after his daddy. I was rather disappointed, and obviously Sirtana was as well. All that trouble of getting a ghost to Woohoo with her and it didn't pay off. Anyway, here's Harlin as a toddler. Almost as annoying is that he ended up with that weird brown-green hair color.

Cousin Lenos also helps in looking after the toddlers. Now that Harlin has arrived, the house is extra busy. I'm enjoying every moment of it though.

Sirtana had her birthday.

Tuon has been making great strides in his career. In the space of a week he has already been promoted a couple times. A big surprise came one day. After only an hour at work, Tuon was spotted by one of the higher ups. That person was so impressed with Tuon that he gave him a promotion and the rest of the day off! Tuon was excited that he got to move up once again. However, he then realized that his early departure meant that he now needed to go help with Araceli and Kaet. He would have rather stayed at work.

His last child was finally born. Lemon gave birth to a boy and named him Homer.

Even though he has a natural abundance of energy, by the time he comes home from work and gets the girls to bed, Tuon is pretty exhausted. Some days he just needs the help of a sleeping elixir.

Things got a little easier though, because it was the girls' birthday.

Yeah, I know. "Really Kelsey? This is the same dress you used on Sirtana, and now you've given it to both of the girls?" For me, this outfit is too adorable! Someone needs to make more clothes like this, or come and teach me how to make them myself.

Sirtana woke up during the middle of the night to sit on the toilet. She didn't have to use it or anything. She just got up and went and sat on it. Really odd, but then again, she is insane.

Harlin aged up. Since his hair color was really bothering me, I changed it.

It was after he aged up that I noticed something interesting going on with the names in my town. Ilariel (Sirtana's first younger sister) recently had a baby boy, and the game picked the name Harlan for him. But there was another strange coincidence. If you remember, Kaet's older twin sister is named Deidre. The game has given the name Deidra to another baby who was just born. So we've got Harlin, Harlan, Deidre, and Deidra. Lovely.

Now that all the children have aged up, Lenos has gotten some time to go out and establish himself as an adult. While working on improving his intellect, he met Tessa Fry. The two quickly hit it off and became romantically involved.

It wasn't too much later before they were engaged, and then married. Tessa became pregnant. They decided to move out of the house, and Harlin went with them.

Sirtana took the girls with her on one of her nightly trips to the graveyard. Araceli took the opportunity to give Kaet a good scare.

To terrify her sister even further, Araceli told a ghost story. Just as she finished, a real ghost appeared!

The girls proceeded to play tag after getting over their shock.

A couple days later, Tuon had his first major league game. Sirtana, Araceli, and Kaet were given free tickets and went to see the game. The whole family went out for a nice dinner afterwards.

It was a weeknight though, and the girls needed to do their homework. It was already getting late, so Sirtana and Tuon helped them out. They still needed the help out some sleeping elixirs in order to be fully rested for the next day.

Tragedy struck a couple days later. Sirtana went to turn an old newspaper into some gold using the Philosopher's Stone. Alati had used the stone over a hundred times with no problem, but Sirtana was cursed by the stone the first time she attempted to use it.

Sirtana being Sirtana, seemed to enjoy being a ghost. She struck some awesome final poses as she dove into her urn.

Tuon was really upset by his sister's death. Grim didn't disappear right away, but walked outside. Tuon sneaked up and scared him.

As the girls came home from school, they smartly ignored the craziness going on outside.

Tuon started to argue with Grim for real, but before Tuon could get the chance to beat up Grim for taking his sister, the coward disappeared in a poof of black smoke.

Sirtana's death left the household with just three now. Her urn was placed in her bedroom in front of the portrait of Lenos she painted a long time ago.

Tuon distracted himself from his grief by getting it on with the maid.

Araceli and Kate decided to throw a slumber party one night. They invited over all the neighborhood children, which is actually just all of their siblings. Since it was the night of the full moon, Araceli started things off by telling another ghost story.
