D&D 5E The Empire of Stars Campaign Diary #1

Back in October, I attempted to start doing campaign diaries for the D&D sessions I was a part of. Unfortunately, not too long after I posted the first one for the main campaign, we decided to end it as there were some problems with how the story was progressing in addition to the DM having some personal situations that kept him busy and stressed. I got distracted with other various things on the blog, and I debated for quite a while on whether to do diaries on all the sessions we had done for that game. I've finally chosen it's not something I'm going to spend time on seeing as there's no satisfying conclusion. Thus, I'm picking up the project by finally going ahead and releasing the information for our now main campaign, the first one we started playing in-person. It will also now be referred to as The Empire of Stars campaign, as that is the setting- a fictional fantasy Asian location.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #49

We open up today with a birthday for the youngest ones in the house. Blake, Miles, and Emily grew into adorable toddlers who would charm Ryleen's heart yet give her zero free time.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #48

Ryleen, overall, didn't have much interest in making the genie that appeared from the lamp super close friends with her. Pamela walked away from Ryleen the instant she was out to plomp herself down in front of the television without saying a single word. She really liked just going about the house doing her own thing while ignoring everyone else.

Tales of Lerathian: The Puppet (Chapter One Excerpt) (Revised 2016)

Going off the heels of releasing the revised prologue for Tales of Lerathian: The Puppet, I decided that I'd release a bit more of the new version of the story. Last time I released all of Chapter One, but this time around it's just going to be a short snippet. Even so, please check out the old so you can tell me what you think of the new!

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #47

Truly having trouble finding men suitable to aid her with the challenge, Ryleen took a whole day away from the house to visit various potentially crowded lots in order to make some progress. Not much luck was had in that department, so Ryleen let herself get distracted by watching a show going on at the restaurant the family owned.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #46

Ryleen found herself happy as she got confirmation of a new pregnancy while Earl freaked out nearby in one of the bedrooms over something small. He has a bad habit of getting scared over nothing.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #45

The earlier half of Ryleen's day in the future went to meeting her plethora of descendants and having fun with all the new technology. The latter half went to getting right back into routine by scouting out men suitable for her needs. Everyone she met was a breath of fresh air, but eventually a certain man caught her eye.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #44

With the chaotic days flying back fast thanks to the unexpected triplets, the new baby girls were toddlers in what felt like an instant. Here's the oldest and the lone fairy of the three, Renity.

Color My World Short Story #3- Part Three (END)

For the first time in months, I overslept and arrived at work late. Well, late according to my standards. My mandatory shifts didn't require me being at the building for several more hours, but this was a rare occasion when I missed one of the deadlines I set for myself. No one paid me any attention in the break room, so I hurriedly shoved my stuff in my locker before rushing down as nonchalantly as possible towards Snow's room. My heart raced as I opened the door, and it sank a million miles when I stepped inside. He wasn't there. None of his stuff was there. There wasn't a single thing in the room that signified a baby was nearby, and, worse, several things had been packed inside that hinted the space would return to a place to stuff storage.

Maybe...maybe they had simply moved him back into the nursery?

Color My World Short Story #3- Part Two

It wasn't as difficult to roll out of bed as I expected. I guess I had long accustomed myself to little sleep and early mornings. However, given how much work Ethereal would require if she was living with me normally my crazy work schedule really wasn't that different from that of a first time parent with a young child. Ridiculous hours, never ending responsibility, and constantly exhausted...which was why if I could barely handle it, I knew Blaze struggled a dozen times more. The drive to Berrybrook proved calming and gave me the clear mind I knew I would need to deal with the biggest baby out of Ethereal, Amaranth, and Blaze. He was difficult to begin with, and that phone call the previous afternoon wasn't going to do me any favors.

I arrived several minutes later than intended, although it certainly didn't make a difference to Blaze. I had began driving to the house in which Coal and Desire had hoped to build their family. The money for the place had been the wedding present from Coal's parents, but, unfortunately, the two story building with three fireplaces, an in-ground pool, and excellent view of the sea now had a For Sale sign in the front yard again. Getting my car down the appropriate street, I found a spot to park on the road and made my way towards the place Blaze and Amaranth now called home, which was little more than a glorified trailer.

100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #43

The newest upcoming addition to the household decided to make its existence known right as Ryleen went to empty the training potty. The mess transformed into a collection of crushed boxes and cans, and Ryleen wished for a boy this time around.
