100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #20

It was too difficult for the university mascot to wait until an appropriate time to show up. He appeared in the way too early hours in the morning to wake everyone up with his ringing of the bell. It didn't take long before the llama man was ushered away. Ella was far too old to attend college, and Lynette had her baby making responsibilities to worry about.

Those responsibilities kept her up the rest of the night, although Lynette handled Tuckery's constant crying well. The care her mother and siblings gave her son earlier allowed her to get the sleep she needed to have the energy to stay up when it was her turn to care for him.

However, Lynette's work did end even when everyone else woke back up. The decent number of people in the household produced a decent number of dishes. The dishwasher was new, but it still couldn't keep up. Rich but not wanting to waste money when she could help it, Lynette morphed into her fairy form to give repairing it on her own a go. It took several attempts, but she got the machine working once more.

Ella tried to get some entertainment in during her last few days as an adult, but there wasn't anyone anywhere. Unlike her, others had to work. This resulted in her staring at a wall and cheering at the lights.

Lynette's siblings couldn't always be trusted to be responsible with their nephew. Melinda was too focused on her homework to bother putting the infant in his crib. Tuckery chilled out on the floor behind her instead. At least the floor was sparkling clean from Melinda's magical genie cleaning powers.

And, he was crawling all over the floors soon enough anyway. Tuckery's birthday came, so a toddle he now was! Lynette's hair was passed down, as was her father's green eyes. Other than that, Tuckery appeared to take more after his father in terms of facial structure.

Lynette got to teaching him his toddler skills right away. With Melinda's absent-mindedness earlier, it seemed safe for her to assume that she had to be the one to be proactive about making sure he was taught everything. That did make absolute sense of course, with her being his mother. Tuckery took to the lessons well, which was a relief as signs of a new pregnancy for Lynette started to show.

It was birthday time! The fridge never ceased to have cake in it. Gwendolyn blossomed into a young adult, and Isaiah, Errol, and Trevor became teens.

The next birthday was a big one, and everyone showed up! Even the new copy of Emmeline I had had to place into town because installing a new expansion had glitched out the house, which forced me to put down a copy of the household and have to redo the family tree all over again.

Congratulations, Ella! You were a much loved baby momma!

Ella couldn't believe that she had caught up to her father, and they spent a lot of time joking about it. Ella kept teasing him about how young she looked even as an old lady. The two of them eventually reasoned that Tyler being a werewolf had something to do with his longevity (or the constant resets -.-)

A better picture of mother and son together. It is a shame that Tuckery was born as a male. His eyes would have been a lovely trait to get to pass down. Perhaps the same coloring would appear on a girl.

Because of Ella's now constant aches and bodily troubles as well as Gwendolyn's departure from the household, Lynette really took charge of keeping Tuckery happy and well educated.

A break had to be taken every now and again though. Lynette was delighted to find that the alchemy store had a magical jellybean bush planted. After tasting some of the sweet candy, she became determined to get a bush for herself.

Gorging herself on the tempting sweets wasn't all fun and games. Lynette, addicted to eating as many as possible, had many crazy reactions. Things like turning blue or yellow she could handle. Being set on fire, not so much. Thankfully, a quick dash into the shower saved her before any damage could be done.

When Tuckery's skill were maxed out, he and Lynette got even more bonding time in when Lynette tried again for multiples by watching hours of children's television. Tuckery, naturally, was willing to join her on each occasion.

Lynette was at the alchemy store to purchase potions and meet more when when her labor started. A panicking male customer got in her way and almost prevented her from making it home in time for the birth.

The television watching paid off. Lynette gave birth to triplets- all girls. The oldest was a human named Briella.

Next was Aramina, a fairy.

Last came Averil, another human.

Lynette barely got the girls settled before it was time to help her baby boy take the next step on his path in life.

Tuckery became a child, and a blessedly obedient one who loved to quietly read.
