Charlie had his birthday, and turned out absolutely adorable. I wish Emmeline would have had multiples with her alien friend so we could have more adorable alien tots to gush over. I am actually very glad that the alien color didn't get glitched away this time. I think the green suits Charlie much better than normal coloring would.
I was really happy when Elwood's birthday came around. I knew he was going to turn out to be a great young man. However, his birthday celebration did not go smoothly at all. The darn candles on the birthday cake set the cake and counter ablaze at only Elwood's slight huff of breath. The whole family freaked out. This was not what they were expecting. They knew the fire could also spread quickly with everything being so close together too.
Elwood thankfully managed to keep his head about him. He grabbed the nearby fire extinguisher to hold back the flames until the firefighters arrived. He had to do everything in the end though. The firefighter merely rushed inside only to watch Elwood fight the chaos by himself. While he did manage to get the situation under control, a lot more damage was done because of the unhelpful woman. Emmeline wanted to punch her in the face when she then left telling the family to be more careful next time.
Emmeline refused to have what happened ruin her son's day though. She made a quick run to the store to purchase another cake, and after the damage was repaired Elwood's birthday was celebrated merrily. What made the day great again is that Elwood wanted to remain at home. Emmeline was glad. She would welcome the help, and she really didn't have enough money to help Elwood purchase his own place anyway. Elwood benefited by staying home by being able to rise up quicker in his ambition of becoming a professional athlete.
Here is some of the work I did to the basement living area I showed you the foundations of last time. I mentioned it would look a lot nicer, and here's the proof. I wasn't really sure of what theme I was trying to go for here. Retro-ish? Ah, interior designing in the Sims has never been my strong point, but I think this area is decent enough. I did add a fairly large dining room so the children can just get up from bed and eat their breakfast (or other meals) here instead of having to wait for the elevator and all trying to cram into the one tiny table upstairs. Having this space also allows the older children some privacy and quiet away from the crying and stinky diapers of the babies and toddlers. The downstairs area isn't entirely complete yet. After this picture I added a bookshelf and more decoration at the end of the hall. I did get around to fixing up the other bedroom, but this room you see here in the corner is still completely empty and unfurnished. I still have yet to decide what I should do with it.
Good old Peter has his birthday. He's turning out a lot like his father. I suppose that's to be expected given their ghostly states. Peter's favorite activities so far are dancing and catching bandits on the rocking horse.
Emmeline finally went into labor. She was ecstatic when she saw she had had another girl. Here is the adorable Ella Majesty!
But, wait! There's more! Emmeline actually gave birth to triplets. Ella is the oldest of the three. In the crib you have the middle sibling, Edwin. In Emmeline's arms is Kenneth. He is the only one who has Tyler's hair, and the only one who is a werewolf. Some of you might have read the chapters I put up of my original story, Found in Time. You might then have noticed I am using the names from that story for the children of this challenge. So far the names that have been used are Edwin, Kenneth, Peter, Charlie, and Ella (they are in birth order here from the characters in the story). I want the children of this challenge to have more old-fashioned type names, and the names from Found in Time fit well since half of the story takes place in 1900.
Our lovely Adelaide had her teen birthday. She's grown up a lot cuter than I anticipated, and Emmeline was certainly very thankful for the extra hands to help out with the triplets. She doesn't want to overwork her older children, but there is only so much she can do by herself.
Elwood does what he can to help lighten Emmeline's load. When he's not improving his athletic skill or at work, he does things like clean and make dinner. He gets a lot of enjoyment actually out of doing such things, and will do them constantly without me even prompting him. It is especially good that he likes to cook. Otherwise, the many mouths in the house would be going hungry.
It was an important day for our mama. Emmeline had her adult birthday, and she still looks pretty good. Emmeline felt bad at first because she felt like she was failing at the challenge. She believed she could have had more children by now. Then she realized she already had seven children, and would easily be able to hit ten, which was the goal she originally set. She would even be able to surpass that number as well. Emmeline stopped worrying.
Even if she hadn't stopped worrying, Ella, Edwin, and Kenneth's birthdays warmed her heart immensely. They were all absolutely adorable. Both Ella and Edwin had her dark brown hair and light blue eyes. Kenneth, besides having his father's hair and werewolf abilities, also has his green eyes. Emmeline refused to admit it outwardly, but so far the three were her favorites.
Here's a closer shot for you all.
Taking care of the triplets was quite the chore though. Emmeline (and Kelsey) barely had time to focus on anything else when trying to make sure all three were properly taught their skills. Elwood and Adelaide were willing to help out as always though. It took a lot of hard work, but it was worth it when everything was taught in the end.
Unfortunately, Charlie did get pushed to the side a little bit while everyone else was so focused on his younger siblings. Emmeline did make sure to start spending more time with him though once he had his birthday. He, like Adelaide, loves watching television. Emmeline always sits down with him whenever he turns it on.
Here's a bit of cute toddler spam since the triplets were really all I focused on for a long while. As you'll be able to tell by their clothes Ella's favorite color is blue, Edwin's favorite color is orange, and Kenneth's favorite color is black. Here is Edwin about to chew on his teddy bear, which is named....Orange (gasp!).
I, ugh! Isn't she just the most adorable thing ever? I recommend clicking on the picture so you can see Ella in all her gorgeous full-sized glory. She has seriously won my heart over. I guess it also helps that she has the same name of the main character of the story I love so much. It's pretty safe to say at this point that Ella is going to be our second-generation mama.
Kenneth is just as adorable as his two older siblings as well. I love his hair coloring that is just so fun. I might keep him around so he and Ella can raise their bound to be beautiful nephews and nieces together.
Emmeline has to keep a close eye on Kenneth though. She stops watching him for one second, and this is what happens. Thankfully Adelaide stopped him before he could so too much damage.
Emmeline loves her littlest girl just as much as Kelsey does. All she wants to do is cuddle and tickle her.
However, Emmeline spent too long cuddling her one night. She got Ella finally put to bed, and then when she tried to take a shower the shower broke. Emmeline had to use more of her precious sleeping time to call a repairman before the bathroom was underwater.
As the only two children in the household, Peter and Charlie play together a lot. However, sometimes their games aren't the most exciting. Charlie also gets frustrated sometimes. Since Peter can't run, their attempt at playing tag forces Charlie to have to walk- resulting in the most boring game of tag ever.
Love your alien child iButterfree!
ReplyDeleteAwww, the triplets are adorable! I think my favourite is Edwin, though. And Adelaide certainly turned out pretty!
