As the days progressed, things were steadily coming to a close on Ryleen's time to shine- no matter how short a time it's felt since she began. A household full of bodies would soon become much more empty as Blake, Miles, and Emily grew up into young adults. Blake and Miles clearly didn't like the idea of having to move out, as they would not make a nice expression for me no matter what I did or where I had them pose for the picture.
Tallis, Allura, and Blaine severely enjoyed being able to all eat breakfast together at one table instead of some of them having to be forced outside for their morning meal.
With moving day approaching, Ryleen started working on the preparations so that everything would proceed smoothly. She packed up whatever she could, and one of the old bedrooms was stuffed full of extra electronics and appliances that had been sitting in the family inventory for her to upgrade just so everything would be up to par.
Then, in the blink of an eye, Tallis, Allura, and Blaine became teenagers. Allura was officially marked as heir, and the family entered the final days of their time in Monte Vista.
For the most part, everything proceeded smoothly. There was, however, always a bit of chaos here and there. Blaine woke up one morning feeling particularly rebellious. He went to boobytrap half the house, but Ryleen caught on to his troublesome ways almost instantly. Blaine got a good scolding and was grounded.
He did all the cleaning and chores for the next several days.
Allura spent most of her time upstairs on the computer. Being a bookworm who hated to go outside, a career as an author proved incredibly appealing. Thanks to gaining levels in the writing skill quickly, it was no problem to pump out a few of the easier to write novels even as a high schooler.
Tallis, on the other hand, loved being outside. All he would do was relax in the hot tub until he was tanned and as wrinkled as a prune.
Ryleen found herself staying younger than the rest of her siblings, even Serenada and Rosette. She should have become an elder already, but she simply needed more days. A number of life fruits were eaten to give her that smidge of extra time that Ryleen required to make sure the transition to a new life was smooth for her youngest children.
The trip to the bus was easier for Tallis, Allura, and Blaine now that it was simply the three of them, but the journey to the vehicle was still a decent walk.
They have to travel out of the house, down the footpath, past the wall, down the sidewalk, and across the road. Even that deceivingly short looking path takes them about a whole hour in-game to walk each morning.
A local raccoon left a nice present for Ryleen to find one morning. He knocked over the trashcan, spilled the contents all over the ground, and too a nap in front of the door.
And the final moment was reached. The peaceful days went without pause, and Tallis, Allura, and Blaine were grown up. They cooperated for their last picture unlike the older set of triplets.
Despite the issue with getting the children to school, this house was a fun one to play in. It had lots of space, but wasn't difficult to navigate. Monte Vista is also extremely beautiful to look at, but it is more than time to move on. Everything was packed, everyone said their final goodbyes, and a cab was taken to the next destination for the new generation to begin!
A generation that will occur in Dragon Valley. It took me some time to choose a proper house for the family and spruce it up, which is why there was some delay between the last update and this one, but the Majesty family is all settled in. Lynette and Homer were brought along, and they were placed in a house right around the corner. Tallis and Blaine got jobs before they also moved into another nearby house.
Ryleen remained with Allura for the time being. There were a few more potions I wanted her to make, and Allura needed a helping hand for a little bit until everything was properly transitioned. Thankfully, the house didn't need an immense amount of work. The floor plan for the upstairs was shifted somewhat, but nothing that was a major project.
Smaller tasks came afterwards. All the food that had been in the fridge before spoiled, so Allura took care of cleaning that up.
Ryleen made sure that the first thing she upgraded was the fireplace. She did not want to have to call the fire department if the flames jumped out of where they were supposed to be.
Allura then started the much smaller garden. There really wouldn't be much alchemy going on anymore except for making some simple ones if needed, so the two plants that were put down was a money tree and a life fruit.
That afternoon the household received several visitors welcoming the two to the neighborhood. No males came, but Allura didn't mind. A day or so was needed to adjust before she even bothered to make progress on that front. Good company was all she required, and good company was found.
The fun continued into the evening as Homer simply couldn't stay away. He chatted with his granddaughter and great-granddaughter over a dinner of french toast before hanging out with them for the evening.
Aah, so that's what took so long in-between updates!
ReplyDeleteAlurra looks really good! Glad she was chosen for heir. I really liked the youngest Triplet's Young Adult outfits.
