Despite moving what would be hundreds of miles in the real world, Allura was still required to attend a graduation ceremony at the local city hall of the family's new hometown. It was a minor inconvenience, but Ryleen at least got to wear her fancy dress she'd never been able to show off before. Allura graduated with good grades and was voted most likely to become a rock star.
Since waiting around after her graduation ceremony was what gave her her first opportunity at starting the challenge, Ryleen encouraged her daughter to stick around for everyone else to file out of city hall. Unfortunately, not only did it take hours for those who arrived after to leave, but for whatever reason the two weren't able to interact with anyone. They all rushed off the lot as soon as they were out the doors.
Frustrated and not wanting to be stuck outside much longer, Allura crossed the road into the downtown park. People began to arrived almost as soon as she did, and there was opportunity for her there even if there wasn't much variety.
The majority of visitors to the park were female. There were a few males as well, but most of those males happened to be her brothers. John Burb was the lone man not related to her, but good luck had him and Allura chatting it up just fine.
After becoming friends, Allura slammed a potion at his feet. John was transformed into a supernatural, grew adorable bumblebee fairy wings, and was quite enthused about the turn of events. He had all the time in the world to keep interacting with Allura since it was a Sunday afternoon, and it didn't take much for her to get him to agree to head over to her house for a while.
It was there where the talking stopped and the fun times in the shower began.
Allura thought it was fine for John to hang around for a bit since that evening was Ryleen's birthday. There wasn't time enough to throw a proper party, so the more people around to celebrate the better, right? Well, the game didn't want even a simple celebration to happen. Ryleen glitched out while interacting with her cake, and then since it was later in the evening the game decided to force Ryleen to age up despite the fact that she was in the middle of blowing out her candles. That thus canceled the cake interaction, meaning John was free to wander. Ryleen and Allura couldn't even have cake for dinner since no one had technically grown up with it and unlocked that function of the item.
Ryleen wasn't in a bad mood though. She accepted her transition into elderhood with grace and a smile.
Signs of the first baby for Allura! This would be baby #67 for the challenge's total count.
Mother and daughter had contradicting hobbies. Ryleen was keeping up with her alchemy, which required her to cut gems into dust in order to have enough materials for potions.
However, the loud noise of the machine bothered Allura, who was simply trying to write her book in peace.
The pregnancy confirmation happened right in the middle of dinner. Allura was forced to place her freshly cooked lobster on the ground.
With a wish to make lots of friends, Allura spent most of her extra time wandering about town finding new people. She really wanted to get to know this guy in the bushes performing songs for tips, but no matter what she did he wouldn't end his performance despite his terrible location preventing anyone from giving him money.
She hoped to have better luck at the park, but at first there didn't appear to be much reason to be there either. No men were there aside from Tallis and Blaine, the latter of who was playing chess. Allura sat down to play a game with him, but he instantly got up to share in Tallis' picnic lunch.
Thankfully, another pregnant mama took pity on Allura and played a few rounds with her to pass the time.
Not wanting her time to be totally wasted, however, Allura eventually tried a third location she anticipated might be a better place to attract people of the male variety. Her instinct was right on the mark as the gym was filled entirely with men.
She took her time to talk and befriend as many of them as possible, but she got along the best with Hugh Grey. They chatted for hours on end, and Allura certainly kept him in the back of her mind for future use.
The big moment!
A baby girl, a human, named Bailey, was born.
Ryleen's help was invaluable that first evening. There was no need to work too hard with both women staying on top of Bailey's needs.
However, goodbyes did have to be said eventually. Ryleen had done pretty much all she could with her alchemy, Allura was all set up in her new home with everything she needed, and Ryleen more than deserved time truly to herself. The two shared a good meal together before moving time came. Ryleen became the roommate of a man about her age who lived in a nice house with a big garden further away from town. Allura gave her mother a massive hug, and then Ryleen was out the door.
