Rosette conveniently wanted to visit the graveyard, so she was the one to make the somber trip to deliver Genevieve's remains to the lot. She found a nice corner, that space there on the right, to place her instead of putting her inside of the mausoleum. I contemplated keeping the urn at the house, but I figured Genevieve's ghost might prove distracting from time to time.
After completing the task, it was time to reduce the household to one. Serenada and Rosette took off to live with Sebrinley in order to allow Ryleen to focus completely on taking up her era of the task.
Ryleen always insists on eating outside, even when it's raining. She loves the outdoors, and I can't blame her for not choosing to eat at the table closer inside. I'd eat outside all the time if I had a view like that.
The grief of her mother's death followed her around for a while. On graduation day, she first though of Genevieve instead of giving her diploma a well earned toss.
She couldn't do nothing but let herself but linger on the pain, however. Sooner was much better than later, and one of her classmates, Hiram Willett, provided a great opportunity.
As the two became even better friends, Ryleen had to ignore Serenada and Rosette behind her gossiping and giggling, and she was pretty sure she had a reason why.
Ryleen and Hiram found better solitude back at the house.
Not only was the timing of Genevieve's death too soon by one day in terms of Ryleen and Serenada's birthday, but in terms of the plants growing in the garden too. Genevieve had been growing both Life Fruit and a Death Flower because she knew her time was coming. They were just about to become mature the following morning after her departure.
Ryleen stashed the Life Fruit in the fridge, and she invited Leilan over to gift him the Death Flower as his time was about to come as well. It wasn't certain if the flower would have the same death prolonging effects given away like this, but it was worth a shot.
Baby number 53 was on its way.
With me being so focused on improving Ryleen's alchemy skill, pretty much nothing interesting happened for the duration of her pregnancy. The three days passed swiftly, and she was out at the alchemy shop seeing if there was anything interesting when she went into labor.
A human baby girl, Norina, was born.
Perhaps to congratulate her on her the birth, the entire afternoon of Norina's birth Ryleen was getting call after call from family members who wanted to talk.
Ryleen was invited over to her nephew's pool party. I believe his name is Darius. I only meant to leave her there for a quick while, but it was pleasantly surprising to see someone was throwing a pool party when they actually had a pool.
An actually useful babysitter? No way. He got more work to do as Ryleen chose to stay at the party longer even if it was just her and Darius.
It looked like they got glitched when they entered the water, however.
That intuition was proven correct when they got out.
The party was halted by the rain, but Darius was grateful she stuck around as long as she did. Ryleen would have stayed for dinner, but even with the babysitter doing well so far she didn't trust that would keep up.
With it just being Ryleen and Norina, time was going by at a rapid pace. It was that point where another pregnancy needed to get under way. Ryleen wandered to a cafe to find the Costa family hanging out there.
Nikolas got along well with her, and he was fine with being turned into a genie.
He was more than eager to come over.
And it felt like the signs of baby 54 appeared instantly.
Norina had her birthday. I know this shot doesn't let you see her eyes, but I really liked the pose and the better showcase of her outfit.
Such a cutie.
Oh my god I can't believe Genevieve died! But Ryleen is already on the job! Norina is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHey Kelsey I was wondering, what do you think about the Sims 4 now when there're toddlers and the vampire pack is coming? Just curious...
It definitely did feel like time flew by for her. I'm super excited about Ryleen's turn though :D
ReplyDeleteThe game definitely has more appeal now that there are toddlers, and I do like vampires, but I can't see myself getting TS4 anytime soon. I'd be too likely to want to stuff it full with a bunch of CC, and with me already having TS3 chock full of stuff I feel like my computer would have a riot. I also think it's ridiculous how they're spreading apart less content so people have to pay more to get the same amount of stuff. There will probably come a time when I'll buy TS4, but that is almost guaranteed when it's in the late stage of its life where practically everything is out and all the used game packs and whatnot are nice and cheap. Honestly, all I really want is for someone to convert the vampire clothes for children in TS4 to TS3 versions XD
