100 Majesties- A 100 BC Update #37

The household woke up to a horribly wet kitchen. Someone had used the sink the previous night, it broke, and nothing had been done about it. The result was a terribly slippery floor and a not very amused Genevieve. Perhaps one day we can start getting all the appliances upgraded so she doesn't have to constantly called the repairman like she currently does.

Things got a little easier in the household with the most recent birthday of Theodore, Emmaleah, and Arlyle. The vampire triplets managed to bear the sun for a while to allow a nice shot of the beautiful view the family has from their house.

Their birthday, however, alerted me to the fact that Genevieve had gotten a bit too far behind with the challenge. With no time left to be picky, she invited Orlando over for the afternoon. The two got down to it without problems, but it wasn't until after he left that I realized something.

The baby chimes hadn't been heard. It was far too late in the night to invite him back, so just for the heck of it Genevieve went to the cemetery to try her luck once more. This time, there was a ghost man! What made the whole thing even more far too coincidental was that the ghost man was one of Orlando's ancestors, Malvolio Romano. Genevieve invited Malvolio into the mausoleum to give it a tour, and the chimes were heard in this instance.

The garden upstairs really began to burst with life and vibrancy. Genevieve rarely had to worry about running out of ingredients anymore.

Baby bump pop!

The household grew rather quiet. With all the children at school, Genevieve simply spent the vast majority of her time gardening and pouring over her alchemy book. She even got so attached to her plants that she shed a tear or two when some of them died off. The pregnancy hormones might have had an effect as well.

When the children were home, they also mostly kept to quiet, uninteresting activities to document considering it always seemed to rain when they had free time. Mostly they watched television, read books, or played games on the computer.

Despite trying again for multiples, Genevieve gave birth to a single and human boy she named Rolan.

In trying to find Rolan a teddy bear in his favorite color, I realized that despite having so many children there had been a few colors that the children hadn't had as their favorite yet- namely green and yellow. I had to dump all the bears out of the family inventory to see I had to create bears in those two shades.

Yup, the kids just got to sit around most of the time doing nothing productive. Sebrinley at least practiced chess for a while.

She also decided to get on Arlyle's case for some random reason. She kept pestering and insulting him throughout the day. It took some intervention to get their relationship back on track.

Lloyd threw a party, and Genevieve had time to attend it for once. As usual, however, she was the only one to show up, and there was absolutely nothing entertaining in the house to do. She chatted with her son for an hour or so, but then she called it quits.

Her timing of choosing to depart from the party was a bit strange. She was just leaving Lloyd's place when the game randomly reset her. Genevieve ended up at the front door at the same moment to repairman arrived to fix whatever had broken then.

In the end, the reset turned out to be a good thing. It switched Genevieve's view onto her age bar where I realized it was actually her birthday! I quickly got her a cake.

Time is flying by compared to Lynette's round.

Poor Sebrinley had some fuzzy problems that night.

Yes, I do have a weird bathroom set up. It's so there's enough bathtubs for all the children to take Submarine Adventures before they go to school, because then they have their hygiene and fun bars maxed.

Rolan birthday came around!

Theodore's, Emmaleah's, and Arlyle's did as well.

But then, it wouldn't be birthday time if everyone didn't have their birthdays together in a massive clump. It was also time for Sebrinley to grow up. A massive swarm of people showed up for the party.

Some refused to leave.

The birthday girl all grown up and at her new place.

  1. Emmaleah and Arlyle are by far my favorite of all this gens kids.
:) Be nice to see Emmaleah take the heir spot. It'd definitely prove some new challenges. What with the sunlight problem, as well as feeding.

  2. I have a particular fondness for all three of the vampire triplets, especially Theodore and Arlyle. That was true for Leilan and Ladarian as well. I think because I can't really keep them around that I end up liking the boys better because I'm somewhat bored with the girls XD
I contemplated using Emmaleah, but unfortunately she's not high on the list. Her extended vampire lifespan would give me the same problems Lynette's fairy status did, and I also am heavily focused on vampires in my Vampire Coven challenge on Tumblr, so I'm trying to keep things different over here.
